Dr. Charles W. Smith

Dr. Smith and his family have resided in Rochester since August 1982. Dr. Smith is actively involved in his church, and is a longtime member of Sertoma 1200, a service organization specializing in helping people with speech and hearing impairments.

For the past several years, Dr. Smith and members of his staff have taken time away from dentistry in Rochester to travel to Honduras to do volunteer dentistry for the indigent people of that country. He and his staff also contribute their time and services to the local Good Samaritan dental clinic treating the less fortunate in the Rochester area.

In addition to dentistry and volunteer activities, Dr. Smith enjoys tennis, golf, water sports, and spending time with his wife, daughter and son.

Dr. Smith's undergraduate studies were done at Valparaiso University in Indiana where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Biology and Chemistry. He then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana. He received the distinction of highest clinical achievement within his graduating class and taught within the dental school his senior year.
